Frequently Asked Questions

What are compute hours?

Compute hours are the time your AltClaw instance is actively running. When you stop your instance or it auto-pauses after being idle for 15 minutes, no compute time is used. You have full control over when your instance runs.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes! Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle. You can change plans anytime from your dashboard.

What happens when I hit my limits?

If you reach your compute limit, your instance will pause until you upgrade or the next billing cycle. Your data is always preserved — nothing is lost.

Do I need a credit card for the free trial?

Yes, a credit card is required to start your 14-day free trial. You won't be charged during the trial period, and you can cancel anytime before it ends.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. Every user gets their own private OpenClaw instance — not a shared machine. Your data is encrypted at rest, fully isolated from other users, and runs on enterprise-grade infrastructure.
